Corks and Forks: "In My Shoes" fundraiser

In My Shoes is a non-profit organization in Dallas which seeks to provide a safe, welcoming community for pregnant women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. All women who are struggling with homelessness, faced with the decision of bringing a child into the world, and are in need of a strong support system from peers and professional counselors are welcome. This program was created by those who have walked a mile in the shoes of the less fortunate. They simply want to give back to the community while explicitly supporting life and families in need. Each home is able to house up to 8 women and 8 newborns at one time and the staff is trained to counsel women with love, dignity and respect.
