Teach 4 Life Seminar
Location(s): John Paul II High School, 900 Coit Rd, Plano, TX 75075
The CPLC Speakers Bureau is presenting a free workshop for educators to empower them with counter-cultural information based on the Word of God. The workshop will present on (1) facts ’n’ stats, including updated data on life issues and abstinence education; (2) the “hard topics” and how to address them, such as homosexuality, same-sex “marriage”, contraception, and sexual abuse; (3) supporting students dealing with real life issues, such as an elderly relative near the end of life or a friend considering abortion; (4) the foundations of teaching on life issues rooted in Scripture, Church teaching and Christian philosophy.
All types of educators are welcome including school teachers, administrators and counselors; parish catechetical leaders and youth ministers; sponsors or leaders of youth-oriented clubs or groups; and anyone else interested in learning more about how to educate on life issues.
