Virtual 24th Annual Walk to Remember / La 24a Caminata Anual Para Recordar
In 1988, former President Ronald Reagan declared the month of October as National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month. M.E.N.D. (Mommies Enduring Neonatal Death), a non-profit organization supporting and providing hope for families that have suffered a miscarriage, stillbirth or early infant loss, hosts a Walk to Remember each October.
The Walk commemorates those precious lives that have been lost and allows families who suffered this loss to experience fellowship, support and public acknowledgment of the life of their babies in a safe environment. Unlike the name may imply, the Walk is not a fundraiser, nor a "walk-a-thon." Instead, it is a beautiful ceremony to remember our babies who have died. Family and friends are welcome this year to join in the virtual walk.

En 1988, el ex Presidente Ronald Reagan declaro que el mes de octubre seria Mes Nacional de Conciencia del Embarazo y la Pérdida de Infantes. “Mommies que sufren muerte neonatal”, una organización sin fines de lucro que apoya y ofrece esperanza a las familias que han sufrido un aborto involuntario, muerte o pérdida infantil temprana, hospedará una Caminata Para Recordar cada mes de octubre.
La Caminata conmemora esas vidas preciosas que se han perdido y permite a las familias que han sufrido la pérdida de experimentar el compañerismo, apoyo y reconocimiento público de la vida de sus bebes en un ambiente seguro. La Caminata no es para recaudar fondos, si no, es una ceremonia hermosa para recordar a los bebés que han muerto. Familiares y amigos están invitados a unirse a la caminata virtual.
