Choose Life License Plate

One of the bills that pro-life groups will be asking the Texas Legislature to pass this year is one that authorizes the production and distribution of a "Choose Life" license plate. Texas has over 130 specialty license plates but does not yet have a Choose Life plate, although 17 other states in the US do.

There are two things that the Choose Life license plate will accomplish

1) It will promote adoption and other alternatives to abortion.
2) Raise funds to assist women experiencing a crisis pregnancy.

The majority of the funds that are raised through the Choose Life license plate will be given to organizations in the state of Texas that support adoption or that provide counseling and assistance to women in crisis pregnancies.

Here are 3 things you can do to help us pass the Choose Life license plate bill:

1) SIGN THE PETITION - We need 25,000 signatures to show the Legislature there is support for the bill. You can sign the petition online or you can download a copy of the petition and circulate it amongst your friends and family.

2) CONTACT YOUR ELECTED OFFICIALS - Click here to contact your elected officials and let them know of your support of the Choose Life License Plate bill. Use the sample message, or make up your own.

3) SPREAD THE WORD - Promote the official Texas Choose Life web site (www.txchoose-life.org) or download the official poster in black and white or in color.
